Engagement in your Work Life
Employees who are engaged are more likely to stay with their organization, reducing overall turnover and the costs associated with it. They feel a stronger bond to their organization's mission and purpose, making them more effective. If you have employee burn out or sitting at your work station wishing you were else where because of the same old thing every day. You need to get engaged, you need to get involved in what it is that makes you feel a part of the team and feel like you have a voice. Start thinking of things that you can do to improve your daily routine and make it more interesting. Write down a list of ideas and list the pros and cons of each idea. If the pros outweigh the cons then present these ideas to your boss or director at the next meeting. This is how you begin to become engaged and making positive impacts on your own little arena and work area. Eventually these ideas will take flight and you will be known for improving or making progress in your field of expertise. Get engaged make the most of your time and efforts within your secular world.
